On Tuesday evening Blues finally released season ticket prices for the 2023/24 Championship season in what will eventually be a fully reopened St Andrew’s stadium. As to be expected after a price rise there has been a lot of talk on social media about ticket prices, especially considering the cost-of-living crisis many are going through.

BCFC: Fifteen Per Cent of Profit

On Wednesday Borussia Dortmund released an official update to confirm what has been one of the most dragged out and talked about transfers in recent times – the sale of Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid. On Monday afternoon it was confirmed by both Blues and by Birmingham Sports Holdings that EFL approval has been given to Shelby Companies Limited prior to their takeover of the club.

Birmingham Sports Holdings made a supplemental announcement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Tuesday afternoon to clarify certain points about the deal that has been agreed to sell a stake in Birmingham City to Shelby Companies Limited. The four page announcement was designed to answer questions shareholders might have but has seemingly just caused more for Blues fans.

A tweet from Fabrizio Romano suggesting that young Blues midfielder Jobe Bellingham is to make the move north to Sunderland set Blues social media alight on Thursday. The tweet reported a fee of £3M was agreed and a medical was to be done in the next ten days.

The club have been issued with a two point deduction, suspended until the end of the 2023/24 season.
