In recent weeks I’ve written about the problems surrounding the ownership of Birmingham City FC. In this article I wanted to look at issues that are closer to home and affect the day to day running of the club; specifically the club’s poor credit rating and debt issues to local suppliers.

BCFC: Credit Scores

There was some shock news from the BBC that a petition to wind up Birmingham City was dismissed by a High Court judge yesterday. The petition was brought forward by HM Customs and Revenue due to an unspecified amount of tax owing, however their lawyers advised the hearing that payment had been made.
