There has been a lot of focus on the people running Birmingham City in recent weeks as the pressure on Head Coach Pep Clotet has grown. With this in mind I thought it would be good to take a proper look at who the is on the board at Blues, to aid understanding of just what is going on and who would be the one to make a decision.

The clamour online for Pep Clotet to be dismissed from his role as Head Coach of Birmingham City grew louder this weekend after a humbling 3-0 defeat to Hull City. The result was the third defeat on the spin for Blues and extended a run of ten games without a clean sheet. Is it time for the Catalan to get the Spanish Archer?

Birmingham City’s midweek away trip to Hillsborough was spiced up by some social media shenanigans on Tuesday afternoon. After a spiky conference where Sheffield Wednesday boss Garry Monk took aim at his former no 2 and current Blues Caretaker Head Coach Pep Clotet, Birmingham City’s Twitter account returned fire with an equally spicy tweet.

Editorial: Some Other Mou Mou

A third successive defeat in the Championship has left many fans including myself feeling that it could be the end for Pep Clotet. The luck Blues enjoyed in the early games appears to have run out and the imbalances within the squad have been left brutally exposed.

BCFC: Moving On

Former Birmingham City manager Garry Monk was appointed boss of Sheffield Wednesday on Friday. The 40-year-old takes over from caretaker boss Lee Bullen, who will remain at the club as assistant manager to Monk. Monk’s arrival at Hillsborough will finally bring some answers to questions following his departure from Blues.

A header from Lukas Jutkiewicz along with a massively deflected effort from teenager wunderkind Jude Bellingham gave Birmingham City a 2-1 win over Stoke City at St Andrew’s on Saturday.
