BCFC: Time To Talk
Four defeats on the spin and once again, things seem to be looking grim at St Andrew’s. In just a couple of weeks I’ve seen people going from offering public apologies to manager Steve Cotterill to demanding his head once again.

Birmingham City embraced the culture of the club’s ownership this weekend with a celebration of the Chinese New Year at St Andrew’s, complete with “red pockets” given out to fans entering the stadium.

March 1st might not seem that important a date in the football calendar – after all, it’s a Thursday night and Blues won’t be playing that day. However, it is a day that could tell us a lot about Blues future in the next 12 months – and all because of those three dreaded letters, FFP.
BCFC: Demand Better
Birmingham City capped off a fairly horrible week on Sunday, capitulating to a 2-0 loss in the Second City Derby. Sam Gallagher was unlucky not to put the team ahead in the first half but Blues showed a lack of fight until injury time when Cheikh Ndoye was sent off for a second yellow card after lashing out at John Terry.
BSH: Loss Warning
Birmingham Sports Holdings today confirmed in an announcement to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong a warning of a substantial increase in loss in the interim accounts which are due to be published at the end of February.
BCFC: A Good Week
Saturday saw Birmingham City lift themselves to 19th in the Championship table after comfortably beating nine-man Sheffield Wednesday 3-1 at Hillsborough. The result means Blues now lie more than three points from the relegation places and within touching distance of lower mid-table.
