Biography
Keith Harris is a London-based investment banker and financier with a 30-year career as a senior corporate finance and takeover advisor, having held senior executive positions at leading institutions Morgan Grenfell, Drexel Burnham Lambert, Apax Partners, and HSBC Investment Bank. He is a private equity investor with interests in varied private equity holdings in financials, media, and sport.
He has advised on football club acquisitions including Chelsea, Newcastle, West Ham, Fulham, and Manchester City among others.
As executive chairman of Seymour Pierce, Harris introduced Carson Yeung to Birmingham City although the takeover by Yeung was completed without the expertise of Harris or Seymour Pierce. Carson Yeung settled the £2.2M debt claimed by Seymour Pierce, but threatened to appeal the High Court ruling which awarded it to the investment firm.
